The Restaurant

The restaurant itself is decorated as modern with a side of western. From the wrought iron faux candle chandelier to the western paintings and signs on the walls, the essence of the west and barbecue are clear and present, but are complimented with clean, modern lines and a dim-lit ambiance.

The staff at the restaurant is well-mannered, well-dressed, and well-educated on what's available. With plenty of service available even in the early lunch hours, so that the food is prepared and served in an efficient manner for the guests. Overall, the staff and the surroundings give Jack Stack Barbecue a five star feel at a two star price and availability.

The Food

If the pleasant environment and staff don't win you over, the food certainly will. Jack Stack Barbecue has smaller lunch portions to fit the average appetite from 11am to 3pm, and dinner size portions available all day for a larger appetite. The one thing that this place isn't small on is variety. Even the lunch portions come in large samples, and some, like the BBQ Combo Lunch, allow for your choice of two of their five sliced meats, their famous burnt ends, the bone in smoked chicken, or any of their choice of ribs, which even includes lamb. Even the sandwiches can allow for mix and match of your favorite barbecue flavors, but if that still isn't your thing, there are plenty of food choices for the adventurous taster.
